Co-Parenting Made Simple

One shared custody calendar for both parents. See who has the kids, trade or give days with approval, and keep a record of every change.

One-time purchase · No subscription · No ads

Child Custody Calendar is a shared custody schedule app for separated, divorced, and never-married parents. Both parents see the same calendar on their own phones, every change needs the other parent's approval where it should, and everything that happens is kept in a permanent history. It replaces the text-message arguments about whose weekend it is.

How It Works

1

Build your schedule in minutes

Pick a 2-2-3 or week-on/week-off preset, or lay out your own rotation. Choose the start date and the calendar fills forward on its own.

2

Invite your co-parent

Send an invite by email from Settings. When they join, their days are assigned automatically and you both see the same calendar.

3

Trade, give, or claim days

Propose a trade, give a day away, or claim one when plans change. Requests wait for the other parent's answer in the Requests tab, and both of you are notified.

4

Keep the record

History shows what is in effect right now and every change ever made, with who made it and when. It cannot be edited.

Everything You Need

Visual Schedule

A color-coded calendar shows who has the kids today, tomorrow, and all year. Tap any day for details and actions.

Trades, Gives & Claims

Swap days, give a day to your co-parent, or claim an extra one. Trades and gives wait for approval; claims can be limited per year and undone with consent.

Requests in One Place

Everything waiting on your decision sits in the Requests tab with a badge, so nothing gets lost in a text thread.

Holidays Handled

Set each holiday once: always with one parent, alternate yearly, or even and odd years. They apply on top of the rotation every year.

Both Parents Notified

Every claim, trade, and give emails both parents and shows up in the app, so no one is surprised at handoff.

A Record You Can Trust

A permanent history of every change, year-end day totals per parent, and view-only access for a grandparent or nanny.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Child Custody Calendar?

Child Custody Calendar is a mobile app that gives both co-parents one shared custody schedule. It shows who has the kids on every day, lets parents trade, give, or claim days with the other parent's approval, handles holidays automatically, and keeps a permanent history of every change.

Which custody schedules does it support?

Start from a 2-2-3 or week-on/week-off preset, or build any custom rotation that matches your parenting plan. You choose the cycle start date and the calendar fills forward automatically. It works for 50/50, joint, and primary-custody arrangements.

Does my co-parent need the app too?

Yes. You invite your co-parent by email from Settings, they install the app and create an account with that email, and from then on you both see and edit the same calendar in real time.

How does trading days work?

Tap one of your days, choose Swap, pick one of your co-parent's days, and send the request. Your co-parent approves or rejects it in the app. Nothing on the calendar changes until they approve, and both parents are notified either way.

What is the difference between a claim and a give?

A claim takes one of your co-parent's regular days for yourself and happens immediately; a family can set a yearly limit on claims. A give offers one of your days to your co-parent and only takes effect once they accept it.

Can I undo a claim later?

Yes. Open the claimed day and choose Undo Claim. Your co-parent gets a request to approve; once they do, the day goes back to them and the claim no longer counts toward your yearly limit.

How are holidays and special days handled?

Add holidays, birthdays, and school breaks once and set the rule: always with one parent, alternate every year, or even or odd years only. Special days are applied on top of the regular rotation each year.

Is there a record I can show a mediator or the court?

The History tab is a permanent log of every claim, trade, and give, with who did it and when. It starts with what is currently in effect and lists the full activity below. Entries cannot be edited or deleted.

How much does it cost?

It is a one-time purchase on the App Store and Google Play, currently under two dollars. There is no subscription and no advertising.

Is my family's data private?

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, is never sold, and is only visible to the people you invite. You can request deletion of your data at any time.

Can a grandparent or nanny see the schedule?

Yes. Invite them as a guest from Settings. Guests get view-only access to the calendar and cannot make changes or send requests.

Spend less time coordinating, more time with your kids.
